A North East delegation will be promoting the region to visiting groups at a travel trade event next month.

The British Travel Trade Show, held in Birmingham on Thurs March 19th, is the premier UK trade event dedicated to group travel, bringing together over 200 attractions, hotels, and destinations with more than 2,000 group travel organisers, travel agents and coach operators.

This year the North East has joined forces to bring a delegation to The British Travel Trade Show to promote the region’s unique offer for the travel trade.

The Destination North East England Stand is bringing together partners Visit County Durham; NewcastleGateshead Initiative and Visit Northumberland alongside attractions Alnwick Castle; The Alnwick Garden; Beamish: The Living Museum of the North; Kynren; The Auckland Project; Ad Gefrin and Hilton Hotel Sunderland.

The stand will also showcase the region’s dedicated travel trade website which hosts bookable products, DMC and Guide info as well as trade resources including an image library and promo copy.

Also available is a Virtual Fam Trip which gives tours operators and group travel organisers inspiration on what they can sell to their customers.

BTTS attracts group travel organisers, travel agents, tour operators and coach operators all looking for inspiration on new itineraries for their clients.
